There is a business opportunity available at the County-owned and operated ice arenas.  We are asking you to help us promote your business while you support the community’s ice arenas.  The ice arenas do not receive tax support as all expenses are offset by revenue generation.  In order for us to meet our expenditures, we have decided to lease advertisement space on our dasher-boards.  The dasher-boards are the half walls with glass panels that surround the perimeter of the ice rink.  You might have seen these advertisements on televised sporting events. 

We have selected several companies in the Delafield area because of the vicinity of Naga-waukee Ice Arena by I-94 and Hwy 83 in.   By advertising with us, you will generate interest in your business since many of our customers and spectators also live in the general area.  There are also many out-of-town spectators that visit our ice arenas for games, practices, and tournaments throughout the week.  Many spectators inquire about local businesses between games.  This would be a perfect way to generate additional business while supporting the community’s youth and adult ice sport recreation.  The following is the information on the ad space.

· Limited advertisement space is available

· Ad size is 3 feet by 8 feet

· Over 300,000 spectators view the ads in a season

· Cost is $500 per year

      o which comes to $41.67 per month

      o or is as low as $1.37 per day

· Ad will pay for itself by just directing 1 family to your business per month

· Counter space will be available to display your business’s coupons and flyers

· Initial sign printing and development cost $100

· Ad space is also available at Eble Ice Arena in Brookfield (Bluemound Road)
