USA Hockey offers free websites to its member districts, affiliates, associations, and teams*.
Some of the features offered on our platform are customized event creation and management, customizable user interface, and tournament tracking and live scoring. USAHockey.com employs a Content Management System (CMS) to allow the user/administrator to customize and change content through a web browser (no need to know HTML).
To request a website, you will first need to go to the main USAHockey.com website and register a new user profile:
1. From www.usahockey.com, click on the “Create Profile” link in the far right upper corner above the advertising banner.
2. Follow the prompts to create your profile.
This will provide the login necessary to administer your website. Your profile also allows you to personalize content on the national site when logged in, so you will need to determine whether you want your personal login to serve as your site administration or whether you would like to set up a more generic login dedicated to site administration.
Once your admin profile(s) is created, you will need to email Eddie Olson (eddieo@usahockey.org) your new user name (or names), along with:
1. Your user name (obtained by registering a user profile on the USA Hockey website)
2. Your USA Hockey association code (We need to verify your organization's USAH membership)
3. The name of the new site, as you would like it to be titled. (Ex: Gulfport Youth Hockey Assocation)
4. Contact information for the webmaster, along with email address.
5. The correct name and physical address for your organization (this will serve as the information for the "Find Hockey Near You" database).
6. The USA Hockey district, affiliate, and association (if applicable) that your organization falls under. (Ex: Central District, AHAI, Indiana Youth Hockey)
Once your website has been created, we will email you with your new website's URL.
* Important note for teams: If you are requesting a team-level website, you must get authorization from your association's Board of Directors and forward us that authorization before we can provide you with a website.
