PNAHA Screening Program

Transparent SafetyPNAHA implemented this online background Screening Program in partnership with Acxiom Information Security Services (Acxiom) and the Pacific District.  The mandatory Screening Program was implemented at the beginning of the 2006-2007 playing season.  This mandatory screening includes high school and spring/summer hockey programs as well.  All referees, coaches (head and assistants), managers and other individuals who have routine access to children (anyone under the age of majority) must consent to be screened through Acxiom and complete the Acxiom screening process.  Background screening for the 2009-2010 season must be completed by October 31, 2009.  After October 31, 2009 any person that is required to be screened and who does ot have the proper screening certification will be disqualified from participating in any PNAHA activities.

For instructions to complete the screening process click on the Screening Instruction menu link.  An approved list will be published in the Approved Volunteers secton of the PNAHA website of all Referees, Coaches, Managers and other individuals who have complied with the PNAHA Screening Policy.

ANY COACH, MANAGER, REFEREE OR OTHER INDIVIDUAL WHO IS REQUIRED TO BE SCREENED PER PNAHA'S SCREENING POLICY WHO CONTINUES TO OFFICIATE, COACH, MANAGE OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATE IN ANY PNAHA ACTIVITIES WITHOUT THE PROPER SCREENING CERTIFICATION WILL BE REFERED TO THE PNAHA DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE FOR APPROPRIATE ACTION.
