The Northern Virginia Cool Cats will host the Special Hockey International Heart League Tournament April 18th 2007April 22th, 2007. Teams from the United States, Canada and Europe will arrive on Wednesday April 18th and depart on Sunday April 22th, with games being played on Thursady, Friday and Saturday. The annual event will be held at The Capitals Ice Center in Arlington, VA. Saturday nights events will feature a Special Hockey Coaches

NOVA Cool Cats Special Hockey, Inc. exists for the enrichment of the athlete with a developmental disability. In addition to physical hockey skills, the program emphasizes the development of desirable individual characteristics such as dependability, self-reliance, concentration, willingness to share and personal accountability. The game of hockey is used by NOVA Cool Cats Special Hockey, Inc. will develop within each player the characteristics that will help the player to be more successful both inside and outside a hockey environment.
