The 2006-07 season brought about an important change in the way all officials call the game of hockey.  Implementing this new standard was very challenging, but officials across Michigan did a great job with this new mandate.  Our challenge during the 2008-2009 season will be to continue our progress and ensure that all officials across Michigan call the game properly, according to the rules and emphasis set forth by USA Hockey.
