The Franklin Park Speed Skating Club trains skaters to compete locally, regionally, and nationally in the exciting sport of Short Track Speed Skating. When you begin, you will train under the guidance of expert coaches who prepare you to compete locally in the "novice division." As you advance you will participate in international and pre-Olympic events. The club is open to skaters of all ability and experience levels. We can teach you the basics of speed skating while you wear your figure or hockey skates.The Franklin Park Speed Skating club will train skaters to compete locally, regionally, and nationally in the exciting sport of Short Track Speed Skating.

You can Try Speed Skating 

• Come out in any kind of Skates, Helmet, Gloves and Knee

• We practice on Tuesdays 7:00-8:40pm (Beginner skaters should plan on attending from 7:00-7:45 Club practice is from 7:50-8:40) September-March Introductory rate: $20 per practice for up to three sessions (fees can be applied to club membership if you join)
