Hi and Welcome to the First Edition of Girls and Women's Hockey - California News !
The goal of this email-newsletter is to inform and help female hockey players in our state on various issues concerning girls hockey, girls playing youth hockey, women's hockey and any "goings on" in the state. It is my hope that this will grow in size and be a great way to become informed about female hockey in California. I welcome any suggestions and questions. Please distribute this to your players and teams and local rink contacts.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY NEWS
Adult women's leagues are located throughout California. Women's leagues are currently thriving at Valley Ice Center in Panorama City and at Sharks ICE in San Jose. Women's competitive teams (who may wish to compete for a District and National Championship) can form and Declare in the following divisions: Women's Senior A, Senior B, Senior C or 30 & over.
Senior A teams are usually All-Star teams comprised of former collegiate and elite players. Senior B teams are a mixture of advanced adult women, many with collegiate experience and many who play at a high level regardless of not having youth/collegiate hockey experience. Senior C women's teams may not have former collegiate players on those rosters. This is considered a competitive division for intermediate women. Women's 30 & over is open to all skill levels but all players must meet the age requirement.
Contact Kathy McGarrigle at CAHAGirlsWomen@aol.com if you wish more information about rostering a competitive Women's team !
