• Class held all year round.
• All ages welcome. Kids must be minimum of 4 years old.
• Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 am
• There are four skill levels each costing $125.00. Kids will be in a level a minimum of 6 weeks.

• First time sign ups get a free pair of skates!
• Teaches the basic skating principles of hockey, with the intention that a skater will be able to effectively skate well enough to play hockey.
• First 30 minutes is the instructional portion, covering skating only.
• Last 30 minutes is with sticks & pucks to learn puck control, skating with the puck, passing, shooting, etc., and perhaps a scrimmage for a few minutes.
• Beginner hockey equipment is available from the rink for use during Learn to Play Hockey courtesy of the Arkansas Hockey Association. Check with the Pro shop at the rink.
• Helmets are required.
• All Learn to Play Hockey students get a card which allows them to skate any public session for free...while they are enrolled in the class.
