Arkansas Hockey Association
Registration
For the 2009-10 season we will again be using USA Hockey online registration.
When will online registration be available?
USA Hockey Online registration for the 2008-09 season is available now. Click here to register with USA Hockey.
What is online registration?
Online registration provides Individual Member Registration directly with USA Hockey from a remote location, such as home, ice arena, etc. via internet connection to www.usahockeyregistration.com. The USA Hockey Waiver will be completed, and USA Hockey ($30) and Affiliate ($5) fees paid online with a credit card (total due = $35) for all members over the age of 6. The Member will print out a confirmation receipt or print out the email confirmation from USA Hockey to take to the local program to complete the registration process.
Why online registration for USA Hockey?
First, it simplifies the registration process. Online registration reduces the workload of local program volunteers, errors are reduced and you are instantly recognized as a current USA Hockey Member. Second, online registration ensures accurate, efficient and direct communication with our members. Many members don’t know about USA Hockey…by registering directly, we have the opportunity to inform them of the organization – and to collect accurate e-mail and mailing addresses. It also provides immediate verification of registration and receipt of payment for the member.
What do I do once I have completed online registration?
Remember to print out a copy of the USA Hockey confirmation when you register online as this must be included with your registration forms for your Arkansas Hockey Association registration. After you have completed the online USA Hockey registration you will need to register for the Arkansas Hockey Association using the forms available for download below. You will need the free version of Adobe Acrobat to open these forms. Please complete all the forms and bring them with you to the rink on Saturday August 15 between 10 pm and 12 noon or on Saturday August 15 between 2 pm and 4 pm. If you cannot make it to the rink during these times, please contact the registrar to make other arrangements.
Registration Fee:
The AHA registration fee this year is $70 for all players over the age of 6. These fees are used by the association for routine business and the remainder goes to pay Supplemental Ice Fees and Coaches Fees. Late registration fee of $20.00 will be assessed for AHA registrations received after 9/15/2008 for a total fee of $90.
Ice Fees:
Ice fees are used to actually pay for the ice time that the association uses each month. The ice fees charged are determined by taking the total fees for the ice used for practices and games divided by the number of players in the league. Check with your team manager for details.
