Youth Inline Hockey is the heart of the sport.  Players at a young age pick up a stick and play with their friends in the neighborhood streets.  Eventually they beg and plead with their parents to let them join the local inline hockey program.  Through hard work and practice, they might move onto a travel program or an all star team.  Either way they most likely play on a high school team and with good fortune a collegiate team as they further their education.  After college and entering the real world, they have a desire to put a team together in the local adult league.  With a little luck, they have children of their own and because of their enjoyment of the game, they encourage their own children to try inline hockey and the cycle starts all over again.
