USA Hockey today announced the 22-man roster for its 2009 U.S. Junior Select Team that will compete at the World Junior A Challenge Nov. 1-8 in Summerside, P.E.I. For Team USA's full roster, click here.

Carlson Named Head Coach of 2009 U.S. Junior Select Team

Mark Carlson, the head coach and general manager of the United States Hockey League's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, has been named the head coach of the 2009 U.S. Junior Select Team that will compete at the World Junior A Challenge Nov. 1-8 in Summerside, P.E.I., it was announced today by USA Hockey.

2008 Jr. A Challenge Central

The United States Junior Select Team used four power play goals enroute to a 7-1 victory over Canada West in the championship game of the 2008 World Junior A Challenge. The U.S. finished the tournament with a 4-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record to claim the championship.
