Blaine Residency Program

USA Hockey convened its post-college players in Blaine, Minn., for a residency program during the 2008-09 season. The team played games against the WCHA women's teams, local boys' teams and men's league teams, as well as the professional women's hockey team in Minnesota, the Whitecaps. Based at the Schwan Super Rink in the National Sports Center, Team USA capped the program with a world championship in April 2009.
