**New youth hockey survey tool: Responsible Sports Season Evaluation**

The Responsible Sports Season Evaluation Tool™, powered by the youth sport experts from Positive Coaching Alliance – an easy-to-use, online survey tool designed to help leagues and teams measure season-over-season improvement and allow you, the parents, to give valuable feedback to your league.

Are you the league administrator?
Sign up for more information!
We’ll walk you through the step-by-step process introducing these evaluations to your league, building and sending the survey, delivering results to you, and help you develop your action plan, plus it’s free!
The Responsible Sports Season Evaluations will create a space for you to voice opinions in an anonymous and confidential way. The feedback that you give will help your league measure its improvement in the experience they provide to your child, and others, for years to come.

Tell your administrator to use the tool this winter! >>

** Five hockey associations join the hall of fame! **

In the fall 2009 grant period we welcomed five hockey organizations, to the Community Grant Hall of Fame.
  • Youth Hockey Foundation of Austin (TX)
  • Duxbury Youth Hockey (MA)
  • Glenwood Springs Youth Hockey Association (CO)
  • Cape Fear Youth Hockey Association (NC)
  • North Branch Area Hockey Association (MN)

North Bach grant covNorth Branch Area Hockey Association competed and earned a grant in the small division with less than 200 players.  North Branch’s administrator explains how they will use the grant money “NBAHA plans on using the funds to assist in our effort to build an indoor ice arena in our school district.  Our skaters currently travel 20+ miles to practice and are looking forward to having an arena to call home.”

They were able to earn the grant by using the Community Grant hockey flier to pass out at practices, sent emails to team parents, and also reached out to friends, family, and coworkers to help in their grant efforts. They even used Facebook as a way to ask for support!

Want to get in on the action?  Go to ResponsibleSports.com/Grant for your chance to earn a $2,500 grant! We’ll let you know when it’s time to rally your community to win!
